The Heroic Dragon

Once upon a time, there lived a big dragon in a city with green meadows and pearl ponds.

Now, since the dragon was very big, everyone was afraid of him and saw him as just another mouth to feed. The people didn't bother to care for him, as they themselves also needed the resources they had to give out.

One day, the city began going up in flames because the mayor thought the people had been having life too easy. The people immediately threw the dragon up, thinking he would never know how to save himself.

However, when the dragon saw this, he didn’t lay back. He had lots of water in his body, so. he breathed it out to extinguish all the fire. He did it so quickly that nothing was damaged and nobody was hurt.

After this, the people apologized to him for their meanness and celebrated him as a hero. When someone asked him why he helped them despite their poor treatment, the dragon said, "If you take the time, your enemy may actually be your good friend, and being nice is how you change people."
